Rates

$225 for 45+ min session

$275 for 75+ min session

If cost is a hinderance, I do offer sliding scale at times. Please reach out to me.

I generally start my clients out by committing to sessions on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Transitioning outside of the alternate week or weekly cadence is an option if we discuss and agree that we are in the maintenance phase. In order for the therapy to be effective, I ask that clients commit to the time and at least 6 months in order to see impact.

I ask for a $50 deposit for your first appointment (applied to your first session fee).

Cancellation Policy

Please be aware that once we schedule an appointment, there is a 48 hour cancellation policy.

Otherwise, there is a full charge for the session that has been saved for you.

Insurance

I am currently contracted with Modern Health. I am an out of network provider for other insurance plans.

If you have PPO insurance plans, you may be covered for a portion of your fee depending on your insurance. I am happy to provide a receipt that you can submit and be reimbursed per your insurance. Please check with your insurance on specifics, including your deductibles and copay. Using insurance requires that you have a medically necessary condition.

If you have an FSA (Flexible spending account) or HSA (Health savings account), your therapy fees are covered by them.

Some clients use HSA/FSA to pay for their sessions but choose not to rely on their insurance. This is because it's not easy to find an experienced therapist who is a good fit (training, approach, cultural, and experience), so they pay out of pocket using their pre-tax dollars.

At other times, clients do not necessarily have a medically necessary mental health diagnosis. Thus they can’t use their insurance but would like therapy to experience personal growth and maintain strong emotional health.

Good Faith Estimate

Overview: Under current U.S. law, patients have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) for the expected charges of any non-emergency healthcare services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

For patients who aren’t using health insurance or who don’t have health insurance, health care providers are required to provide a good faith estimate of the expected charges for scheduled medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a GFE before you schedule a service. You will receive a GFE upon request or if you schedule services at least three business days in advance. A good faith estimate might not include: Items or services related to your care that are scheduled separately, like pre-surgery appointments, or physical therapy in the weeks after surgery.
Items or services related to your care that will be provided by another provider or facility. Additional items or services that your doctor didn’t anticipate before providing care. If a patient receives a bill that is at least $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate, the patient may dispute the bill.

For more information about Good Faith Estimates, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

All clients are given a good faith estimate that are part of the consent forms signed at the beginning of service.
